Your purchase is a personal license.
This standard license explains what you may—and may not—do with an ebook or digital product obtained from Digital Delights.
Last updated: August 7, 2026If a product page or included license expressly grants different rights, those specific terms control for that product. Otherwise, this standard license applies.
1. License grant
After a valid purchase or authorized free acquisition, the applicable rights holder grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to download and use the product for your own lawful, non-commercial reading and reference, subject to these terms.
The product is licensed, not sold. Copyright, trademarks, and all other ownership rights remain with the author, publisher, or other rights holder.
2. What you may do
- Download the product through the authorized Digital Delights delivery method.
- Read it on devices you personally own or control.
- Keep a reasonable private backup for your own use where technically and legally permitted.
- Print limited pages for your own reference if the file and product-specific terms permit printing.
- Quote brief portions for lawful purposes with appropriate attribution, subject to applicable copyright law.
3. What you may not do
- Share the file, download link, or account credentials with another person.
- Resell, rent, lend, sublicense, gift, redistribute, publish, upload, or make the product available through a shared drive, website, group, marketplace, or peer-to-peer service.
- Remove copyright notices, watermarks, attribution, access controls, or rights-management information.
- Reproduce substantial portions, create or sell derivative products, train commercial systems on the content, or use it for organizational distribution without express written permission.
- Claim authorship or ownership, or use the product in an unlawful or misleading manner.
4. Team, classroom, library, and commercial use
A personal purchase does not include multi-user, classroom, library-lending, client-delivery, training, resale, or commercial reproduction rights. Contact [email protected] to ask whether an appropriate license is available.
5. Free products
A zero price does not place a product in the public domain. Free products remain protected and are subject to this license unless clearly released under another named license.
6. Updates and replacement files
A purchase does not automatically include future editions, updates, or different formats unless the product page says so. Access to a replacement file may be provided for technical support without expanding the license.
7. Termination
This license ends automatically if you materially breach it. On termination, you must stop using and delete unauthorized copies. The rights holder may pursue other remedies available by law.
8. Permission and licensing questions
For rights beyond personal use, contact [email protected] before using the product. Include the title, intended audience, number of users, purpose, territory, and duration.
