Great for point and click device — Jumps when used as Microsoft Ink Pen
I found this pen to work fine as a universal point and click styles to select items, launch items, and move files/icons. When I tried to use it on my HP with Microsoft Digital Ink, it seemed to jump around a bit. When I’d draw a diagonal line, it would often be rendered as a series of horizontal line segments unless I moved painfully slow. (I’ll post a picture of what I mean) I’m not sure if that’s my laptop or the pen. I’m left with the conclusion that this works fine as a Mouse Replacement, but I can’t get it to perform like my wacom stylus or the Microsoft Pen on my Surface Pro 3. I’m still going to give this 4 stars though, because my ultimate goal was to avoid finger prints (not to draw or do artist type screen work).

The pen kept disconnecting the line. Doesnât write well at all compared to the smoothness and effortlessness of writing on an iPad. I was really hoping it would work. Sure it can tap and touch things, but so can my finger. I wanted to write with it and it does a worse job than if I use my finger. Maybe 40% accuracy in writing. Will return this item.

I was pleasantly surprised when my HP envy registered the stylus and allowed me to move the screen with it. However the laptop registers the pen as touch which means when I’m writing notes the laptop registers both the pen writing and my hand. Additionally the pen has been jumping causing gaps in the lines. I am unsure on the battery life of the pen however the instructions that came in the box stated 8-10 hours rather than the 20 hours as stated in the product summary online. If you’re looking for a pen to use as a basic stylus then this does the job but if you’re using it to draw or right notes with this might not be for you.
