This book was created by an artist who understands that sometimes, you just need a creative nudge to help get the pencil moving and break that pesky block. By simplifying the human form, we hope to remove the inevitable anxiety that comes with drawing a person, and speed-up your art, over time, increasing your own understanding of human anatomy, proportions and movement.

I haven’t finished with this book. I brushed through some of the pages. It seems t o be really helpful. If I were to try and draw like this on blank paper with pen or pencil it would probably still look like a sketch, but it seems to be likely that I’ll be better at animating with this modular drawing style. Really helpful to me a person with artistic skill but little moderation.

Lovely human drawings, since most people have the same body parts, I can almost imagine how some of these characters would animate. But that’s not the entity.

I’ll just study the style and it’s application since that seems to be the purpose of this work.

    Crow not wish not.

I really like the variety of poses in the book. This book will not give you instructions or guide you on how to draw the poses. Overall still good to use as a reference.

This book is wonderful as a reference for portrait artists and illustrators. I find it tedious to find pictures online to reference poses for my art and Sketching on a daily basis. And this solves the problem 100 %. I bought the book for 908 rs which is steep but i needed it, so I don’t mind. I think the seller has hiked the price after the purchase.
There is a small index for all the poses. There is no introduction to basics of anatomy drawing in this book, which I don’t mind. There is no explanation provided nor literature, it’s just a book chock full of drawing references. And that’s what I wanted exactly. People standing casually, action poses, people of both genders and of different shapes are shown in this book. Only thing I wish this book had was a stick drawing for each of the poses on the side so it can be a little easier for beginners to emulate.

Having bought several of this series let me first say that they are a good resource for beginners. There’s a lot you can learn once you have some basic understanding of construction mechanics. The big downside is that there are many, many, many poses and pictures that show up in multiple books. There are some poses that appear in every book. It’s a little lazy and cheap to sell each book with the exact same image(s) in them.

These are great I’m really happy with my new books, some repeated in the second and third book but still really awesome, I’ll be drawing for days! I’m going to get book 4 next and book 1 is on its way. 😀

In this book we can find a lot of standing poses, a few fighting and action poses; and a very little amount of interactive poses. Another great book to use as reference.

True to the description. It’s got a good mixture of poses, including female and male. It’s helped me progress with my drawing so much.
