A wonderful easy book on colored pencil medium for a range of ages, truly worthwhile buying as I am new to colored pencils and didn’t realise the range of possibilities with this medium. The book pages were easy to follow, and the diagrams very information, I recommend it to anyone at any artistic level.

A very large paperback book so plan extra space to store. The pictures and directions are wonderful as always with this author. Recommend to anyone interested in colored pencil drawings of animals.

This was good for taking you step by step on how to color/shade and to some extent draw. I think this is for a more experienced artist that is more concerned with learning how to shade/color. The author makes a lot of subtle changes that you have to look for in each step. All in all I had fun doing the rooster and I am sure I will try another one.

Nicely layed out and easy to follow instructions I like the use of colour as well it gives you an easy way to discover what you are capable of it will take you by the hand and guid you through step by step it also gives you information as you progress thru this book it is important to read this book although it’s tempting to just try going straight to the drawing there a lot of information you need to take in as well but all in all I will try some of the animals shown in this book 5 stars
