We have had so much fun with this book, it is great to practice drawing the monsters etc, but it is real fun when used as a family game, each being shown a monster and the hints of how to draw – the book being taken away see how the monsters turn out – hysterically.

I bought this for my son and he has used it many times. He likes using the ideas of the book as well as applying his own to the picture. I feel this is a learning book as well as it helps the creativity.

Ordered it for my 6 year old nephew who is very much into drawing right now. He likes to follow the step by step instructions and after working on a few pictures with him from various website, my husband suggest these books. We bought a few for him (monsters, cars and animals) and some are a little more complicating for him but he loves it and started on them right away.

I got this for my 11 year old Grandson for a Christmas present and he loved it.. i also purchased a sketch pad and some artist pencils for him to use and before he opened any other gifts he had the pad and book open and was starting to draw monsters. His mom said he just loved the book, so easy to use with clear instructions. Any kid who has a artist streak in him or her would enjoy the book…

I’m an artist and my nephew also has the gift of drawing. He is only 9 but he draws increidbly well for his age and I wanted to enhance is talent so we bought him this book. Wow I myself was very taken back at how well made it is. This artist worked for Disney at one time so you know it’s good! I will be picking up one for myself after the holidays!!
