If you want a resource to help with illustrating your fashion fantasies that reflects your own design aesthetic, then this book is for you. This is a thorough, but concise treatment of fashion illustration and design. It will show you basic strategies for putting together a journal that will document and communicate your design ideas.

i was told specifically to buy this as a gift for a friend when i asked what they wanted for their birth day

based on what they told me it fit their needs while in fashion school. they now make high end wedding dresses

and no they are not on amazon and i doubt if many could afford these without a 3rd mortgage

Love this book. I use it for fashion design in my high school Art classroom. I cut the spine off and put it in a binder. Helps with drawing fabrics and bodies in real and distorted proportions.

Creative Fashion Drawing is well written and easy to understand. It covers a wide range of topics from equipment and materials, anatomy, sketchbooks, to drawing garments, outfits and accessories. It also has a fashion illustration gallery at the end to show examples of different styles. This book has everything for the beginner or student. As a person with skills in life drawing, I found it perfect for me. I wanted to learn to draw fashion illustration and Creative Fashion Drawing was a wonderful guide.
