This book contains some previously featured pieces (Popular Woodworking Magazine) as well as newly found A & C pieces from the G. Stickley catalog and an original design from the author. I have been woodworking (Arts & Craft & Greene & Greene furniture) for over 15 years and I have never been a big fan of P W Magazine projects. Detail assembly and sub-assembly diagrams are few and far between, case in point, the first project in the book is an A & C buffet a design by the author, is eye appealing . The author provides on one page, two (2) diagrams, a front and side elevation and a material list out of a total of eleven pages. The project is long on verbiage (some useful some not) and Mr. Lang’s woodworking techniques. For those of you out there who are master woodworkers these projects are probably no-brainers, having said that, I would recommend the book to those who have intermediate woodworking skills, however this not a book of projects for beginners.
