If you watch this show because you’re mentally a 16-year-old depressed stoner/alcoholic and are a horrible person then you will love this book. It breaks down all the characters and we see how they are drawn, and why the developers chose certain designs and words for them. I like the pages about the scenes and how they came up with the dialogue.

Es un buen libro del creador y la ilustradora de la serie BoJack, solo que me hubiera gustado que saliera también parte de la ultima temporada y comentarios del final de la serie. Entiendo que sacaron en libro a la mitad en producción de la serie. Pero aparte de eso, esta excelente los dibujos los comics, los escenarios y no solo es el arte, es su historia de como salió y en que se basaron.

The art is beautiful, the backstory is compelling. Process is explained and and you come out with a deeper appreciation on how much thought went into everything from the background scenes to the look of each character. The interviews are informative while still offering the entertaining nonsense, spiraling logic, and extravagant tongue twisters that litter the show. After reading this book you get a feel for the people who breath life into Bojack Horseman, specifically Lisa Hanawalt, whos humor and gorgeous art is the very soul of the show.
Overall, if you love BoJack or love art books, you will not be dissatisfied. This goes right up there with “The Art of Archer” as one of the most insightful and beautifully designed art books out there.

I was afraid to buy this because other reviewers had received damaged goods. But now it was at a discounted price and I had been wanting it for long enough. I’m glad I bought this gem. The book arrived safely. There was no plastic wrapping to get through. My partner and I are big fans of the show and we enjoy going through this book together.
