This book is wonderful! I had seen the description months before it was available in the US and was so excited to check it out. I’m an intermediate level crocheter and this is by far my favorite pattern book so far. Most books that are out there do have some awesome patterns in them, but I honestly plan to try out every pattern in this book. I’ve been recommending it to friends, too. Definitely a great investment.

All kinds of funky things to make in this book. All smile makers, for the giver and recipient. Ten designers including the late Marinke contribute gorgeous bright easy patterns, everything from the simplest granny square mug cosy to a stunning mandala that can be the starting point for a stool cover, pillow cover, whatever! Scrap yarn rules in this book, the brightest colours dominate! Happy making, for sure! I love the heart and flower motif section and the very helpful techniques portion at the back. I am keen on different ways of joining motifs and squares, and that’s covered. Most likely first project for me will be the Wildflowers Scarf on page 89 for my BFF. She is a cheerful person and this happy little scarf is ideal. Boho Crochet is the perfect gift book for that woolly person in your life! Most enjoyable, price is right!
