I purchased one of the hardcover versions of the book, and I was absolutely blown away by the quality. The book structure itself was in excellent condition and appeared to have hardly been used. The pictures and text were of detail I had never seen before in a book. For the hardcovers that are under $500, I recommend this for any big-time fan of The Evil Within. It is worth saving up for. It brings detail and insight into the game that can’t always be found on the internet. I can only hope and assume that the digital version has an equal amount of graphic detail. Check with each seller, though, to make sure it is the quality you want. Mine was a former library book and had library tags on the cover and spine (which I am 100% okay with).

Stupendo. Carta di ottima fattura, cartonato, tutto a colori e illustrazioni che, per chi apprezza l’ “arte dell’horror”, troverà davvero stupende. Descrizioni (tutte in inglese) del making of dei personaggi e delle varie scelte fatte e anche gli schizzi preparatori e poi scartati. all’inizio una piccolo intervista a Shinji Mikami, il resto dei commenti sono dell’artista che ha curato il chara design, ikumi nakamura (Tango Productions). CONSIGLIATO ASSOLUTAMENTE, anche per capire appieno The Evil Within.
Ottimo anche il servizio di amazon arrivato un giorno in anticipo.
(consiglio di prenderlo ora che è MOLTO scontato il suo prezzo originale è 46 $)

The book is amazing, love all of the different costumes for each of the character especially for Kimdall and The Keeper. I would gladly give this book a 5/5 however, I noticed one significant problem with my book, I have around 20 extra pages that are the exactly same as the previous 20 pages or so in my book. So I’m not sure if I lost some artwork or I have extra 20 pages. That kind of bugged me because the book itself is amazing with all of the cool artwork in different mediums etc. If I could get a new book that is 100% correct, I would gladly give this book 5 out of 5!

This book gives amazing answers to many questions fans have about the games concept art, as well as additional ( and in my opinion more insightful) look into the depth of the various personalities we see in The Evil Within world. The game is highly enjoyable and the artbook itself is top quality, Dark horse books seems to nail all the right things when it comes to their artbooks. The artbook is full of infomation about the characters and the art is just incredible, The lead concept artist Ikumi Nakamura is a very talented individual, I personally don’t like the Japanese art at all, but this is just pure beauty. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoyed The Evil Within, it’s a must have !

Another great high quality, hardcover Dark Horse Art Book!! With 224 pages full of concept art of characters, villains, environments, props, and marketing material. Also includes an introduction from Shinji Mikami (Creator of the game) and Ikumi Nakamura (Lead Concept Artist) talking about the origins and development of the game. Most art for a particular character or enemies include beginning sketches and then include the final CG version of it. If you like video game art books and grotesque monster designs this book is for you!

ich bin ein großer Fan der Survival-Horror-Games. Auf “The Evil Within” habe ich mich bereits lange vorgefreut und war deshalb um so erfreuter, als das Art-Book parallel angeboten wurde. Habe es mir gleich von Beginn an besorgt und erst nach dem durchspielen des Spieles damit begonnen, es zu durchzublättern, und im Nachhinein gesehen, auch zu geniessen.
In diesem Artwork-Buch, welches relativ groß und fest eingebunden ist, gibt es alle im Spiel befindlichen Kreaturen, Charaktere und Umgebungen noch einmal detailliert in jeweils verschiedenen Artworks. Sehr tolle Qualität und wie das Speil selber auch sehr stimmig aufgebaut. Zu den einzelnen Charakteren, Gegenden und Monstern gibt es häufig noch geschichtliche Hintergrundgeschichten zu erkunden, die die Spielstory noch ein wenig ergänzen.
Für mich ein sehr ordentliches Art-Book von einem großartigen Horror-Survival-Spiel. Fans von solchen Artworks und Sammlern kann ich dieses Buch nur wärmstens empfehlen. Für Leute, die “nur einmal durchblättern” wollen, würde ich bei dem Kaufpreis von rund 30 Euro abraten. Dafür wäre es doch zu viel Geld…

サブキャラを含め220ページ中の67ページ程度が人物絵です。
様々な設定イラストの中でも、クリーチャーと背景がたくさん載っています。
クリーチャー好きな方には、いいかと思います。
洋書ではありますが、ほぼ絵なので問題ないと思います。
