For what it’s worth –
This is a great book with some very beautiful afghans. While many of the patterns are rated as intermediate, don’t let that scare you, if you know how to make a single, double, and triple crochet stitch you should be able to do most of them without much trouble. There’s also a list of the yarns the author used in the back cover of the book so you can see exactly what you need to match the afghans in the pictures.
I’ve made several of them as gifts and they were all well liked. And one of the patterns in particular (August’s, Sunflowers afghan) I make often to use up my left over yarn in the petals of the flower motifs and squares. I’d definitely recommend this book to others and would love to see it made into a kindle book to make it even easier to work on the afghans in it while on the road.
