A ver si buscas aprender procreate es tocar, ser curioso, probar y si necesitas mas mira videos en youtube. Igual con landscapes pero esto no es como otros libros de oleo que te ensena a ver el color o encuadrarlo y medir, simplemente no vale la pena.

This is a great way to learn Procreate. If you are an artist or just want to create something special digitally; then you should be working In Procreate. If you use Adobe Photoshop or other similar apps you should be checking out Procreate. This app is not easy without a good companion study and learning aid like this book. I do a lot of work in Procreate and when I got the newest iPad Pro M4 and the Apple Pencil Pro… well I got this very good User Guide. Along with the learning videos that come with Procreate, this book is a great way to just read and then PROCREATE!

This is a great book for learning how to do landscapes from photographic reference.
But not Plein Air. Virtual plein air, yes, but not actually outdoors. Almost every contributor skips that part, and it they were probably editorially directed to do so.
This book contains almost no advice on how to set up an outdoor easel for digital outdoor painting, equipment and supplies for outdoor work like tripods, dealing with light, battery power, etc.
Instead, this book deals with composition, layering choices, etc. It’s a “how to paint landscapes from photographs indoors”. And that’s not my definition of plein air, nor most of the traditional art world’s. I think the title is a complete misnomer and probably selected to imply the book was about something it wasn’t so they could appeal to more purchasers.
I would not recommend this book to anyone actually wanting to learn how to paint outdoors with Procreate. While the content is interesting, it’s not what the title implies. I personally feel like I’ve been bait-and-switched.

I’ve only been using Procreate for a few months now. I’ve done a lot of the online tutorials and bought all the previous books, but this one covers my preferred material subject…landscapes and architecture. While I got a lot out of the previous books, they all spend half of the book covering the tools and features of Procreate. This book assumes you know the basic functions of Procreate, which I appreciate. The tutorials are detailed and explained clearly. My favorite of all the Procreate books.
