This is a wonderful little book! The author makes drawing simple, which inspires me to try. I am back to see if Kamo has other drawing books. Thank you for a wonderful product! (The cover had a bit of a tear, probably because it was shipped with other items and not secured in the box. That is not a point against author, but of shipping/packing team).

Sie zeigt viele Techniken, die man in „unseren“ Zeichenbüchern niemals finden würde. Ihre Erklärungen sind überaus einprägsam. Die Zeichnungen sind niedlich und weil Kamo Japanerin ist, finden sich viele Motive, die ungewöhnlich, aber überaus bereichernd sind.
Die Zeichnungen und Techniken sind auf das Wesentliche reduziert. Dadurch sehen sie sehr einfach aus, was sie einerseits sind, andererseits auch wieder nicht. Kamos Bücher sind alle samt kleine Schatztruhen. Sowohl Kinder als auch Erwachsene können damit prima ohne langweilig verwissenschaftliche Erklärungen für den Hausgebrauch oder auch als „Sketchnotes“ Zeichnen lernen. Kamo kann in Bildern so gut erklären, dass es kaum notwendig ist, Englisch zu können. Mir gefällt, dass kein teures Zubehör empfohlen wird. Überwiegend wird mit Gel-Stiften gezeichnet, die sich auch problemlos gegen bevorzugtes Zeichenmaterial austauschen oder ergänzen lassen.

I bought this book for a second grader’s birthday as a gift. My daughter wanted one of her own and now all of the classmates are buying them. These doodles are just so darn cute. For anyone lacking confidence in the drawing department – this is a treat. Even I can draw a watermelon now. 😉 My son who is less interested in art is loving this book too. This would make an awesome gift for anyone looking to build confidence with doodling! The size of the book is small and portable and will be awesome for travel. Highly recommend!

I returned because the books just presents the drawings without step by step. The doodles are not that cute, and definitely you can find better free ideas whe you google doodles so I return it

Me encanta el estilo “ballpoint” japones, tengo ya varios libros similares y de Kamo (autor) este no es la excepcion, trae ejemplos muy bonitos para toda ocasión. Muy sencillos eso sí… un estilo muy infantil y es de gustos. A mi me encanta.
