Volume Two of the Topology Workbook offers step by step instructions on how to model a character’s head. The format of the book is straightforward and the content is absolutely invaluable. Once the reader commits the techniques outlined in this book to their memory, they’ll be able to model virtually any type of character’s head. I can’t recommend this book enough. It’s a must have for 3D character artists.

I thought this might help me for reference while in my 3D modeling program, but the book is extremely thin (feels like a free hand out, 60 ish pages) and is lacking in a lot of important information. The models aren’t animation-ready and some parts of the topology aren’t even correct by industry standards. Maybe it’s good for absolute beginners who just wants to learn a basic head they don’t intend to rig, but not worth it in my case. IMO this is a 20$ book. For 60$ this should at least cover how to create the tongue and eyes?? As well as the entire body – in which case I might have kept it.
