All and I mean all of the force books are phenomenal. This one is no different. This is a great companion to the other books.

Offers many more examples of force drawings to clarify what is discussed in the Life Drawing book. It often also uses athletes rather than posed models which makes the application of force in the body more obvious. If you liked the concepts of the original book, I think this is well worth the buy.

Nice companion piece. Doesn’t say anything new, but dives a little deeper into areas that were glossed over in the original Force book. Definitely recommended for fans of the Force Series.

This is more straight to the point than his older book. I still love his books and I got my very first copy back in 2007 🙂

It describes a concept and shows drawings for it.

It doesn’t show what consequences not following the guidelines do in much detail.

It resembles contour based approaches though sometimes the lines go into body. It makes you think about what muscles are being used and what lines should be flowy, smooth, thick vs straight. It shows ways to go to shapes and three dimensional forms.

I am still not able to draw using this method but it was interesting to see examples of it.

This is single handily the best companion book for the FORCE series of drawing books that could have been created. What the Force Drawing 10th Anniversary edition for setting the foundation of understanding what Force is, Force Companion ties everything together. I was hesitant at first purchasing this book with the high price tag, but being a monthly member of the Drawing FORCE membership community I know the quality would be there, I was fearful that it might be redundant. It’s NOT, it’s simplifies the FORCE process in an easy digestible form with examples, allowing you to see within a few page what you’ve been missing. After I started reading it I quick began bookmarking pages knowing that I would be revisiting them in the near future to help my process in further understand this great drawing method. I could not recommend this book enough!

The book came on time but a little bent on one of the tips. This should be packed in a box not in an envelop.
      It’s still a great book.
