Shipping and confirmation was prompt but I was disappointed to see that my new product had apparently been scuffed and dented from the shipping process. The padded envelope it was shipped in was too small and offered little protection to the book. I would ask that if the vendor continues to charge full price for new items, they should do better to ensure that those items arrive with as little damage as possible.
On the other hand: Seeing the story threads the DA writing team had in mind for Dread Wolf is exciting for any long term fan. It’s also heart-wrenching to see the story they wanted to tell, but couldn’t.

Ich bin Dragon Age Fan der ersten Stunde. Auch wenn mir Veilguard nicht so gut gefallen hat, ist das Artbook einfach klasse und es macht einen fast traurig zu sehen, was wir alles in diesem Spiel hätten haben können. An guten Ideen hat es den kreativen Menschen nicht gemangelt. Da muss man sich wohl bei EA bedanken, was am Ende aus Teil 4 wurde

I loved the book, though it made me sad to see what Veilguard could have been. I wish we’d had a pirate ship so much!
This gives a good look into how Bioware’s art team and writing team iterated quickly, ideas they kept and scrapped, and how they got to the stylized version of art we got in Veilguard.
I do think there are some big gaps between how they moved from the Joplin version of the game into the Veilguard version – it feels like there’s a LOT that wasn’t said. Looking forward to a tell-all someday!

Quand j’ai appris l’existence de cet Artbook, je me suis dit que ce serait intéressant de voir ce qu’il pouvait contenir… Et je n’ai pas été déçu, entre les concept art et les illustrations toutes plus belles les unes que les autres. Ma seule déception serait par rapport à tous les développements évoqués dans le livre sur le scénario du jeu, toutes les pistes qui ont été créées mais qui n’ont finalement pas été exploitées. En tout cas c’est un artbook de qualité.
