The product came in apparently crisp and new condition. The sort where you feel it resisting you opening the cover even 90 degrees because it hasn’t been opened since being assembled. However, the pages around the top and bottom are a bit wavey as if water damaged. Less that it was splashed with water, and more that it was in some very humid enviornment. I do not know if this is a product of their printing process, where it was stored, or the weather it was transported in. However, the end result is a visually and physicialy perceptible wavey texture that makes the book feel a bit less good.
Update: I haven’t been using the book much (busy, not due to lack of interest) but I have noticed that the wavey texture has diminished some in the few weeks I have owned it. It is still a bit wavey, but it seems that letting the book rest closed in a good enviornment with just a bit of weight on the cover helps treat it.

The arts from the movie is so vivid and cool. I gave this as a gift to my nerdy friend but I really just wanted to keep it on my coffee table or bookshelf because it’s so beautifully printed. I spent a good amount of time just flipping through pages

C’est un livre très complet de 96 pages, en anglais, qui a été concocté par l’éditeur. Il débute par la présentation des six versions différentes de Spider-Man : Miles, Peter, Gwen, Peni Parker, Spider-Man noir et Spider-Ham.
Il continue avec un entretien croisé des réalisateurs, qui reviennent sur la production du film, ils parlent de la création du monde où évolue Miles, ainsi que ses liens familiaux, notamment avec son oncle Aaron.
Tout est détaillé, en passant par la manière dont chaque personnage a été emmené dans cet univers particulier, ainsi que les versions choisies de chaque vilain, comme The Kingpin, Tombstone, Green Goblin et The Prowler, qui sont redéfinis à travers des graphiques précis et modernes.
Excellent bouquin, qui permet de plonger au cœur de la création du premier chapitre d’une saga en devenir.
Indispensable pour tout fan.

What gift can you give a grown mature fan, who wants to know about the film, the characters , the process and the execution???
This book was deceptive. As a small hardcover item, it carried all the marks of a “kids” volume. Delving into the content revealed something very different.
This book featured concept art, commentary from the behind the scenes, and backstories on characters. This book was mature and gave one a real sense of how this phenomenal move came to be.
Great for collectors, and for autographs…
