This book was created by an artist who understands that sometimes, you just need a creative nudge to help get the pencil moving and break that pesky block. By simplifying the human form, we hope to remove the inevitable anxiety that comes with drawing a person, and speed-up your art, over time, increasing your own understanding of human anatomy, proportions and movement.

Most “action” artists either need to buy a very expensive set of posable dolls, which can be fragile, plus anatomy books…it adds up fast. These books will give you help with finding figures to use in your drawings, and practicing the action figures you may want to draw.
These are a good place to start your “action” drawing. Sometimes you will want to tweak the proportions, but these books will continue to be a good reference and go-to for ideas. You will get male and female figures in a wide variety of poses. There are several of these books, so you can pick one or many. Each is different, but there is slight overlap in them, so be aware that 100% of the poses are not isolated to just one book. The overlap is slight.
I recommend these books.

Captures the form at its finest moments. If I take any one of these forms and create a silhouette it is always going to read well to the viewer. This book is filled with figures that read-correctly!

I like this book, and do use it sometimes. However for the price and the fact that you can find it online for free, i feel a bit cheated on this one.

It’s a book, so it’ll serve its purpose. I just don’t like that I got a used copy with obvious damage. If it was advertised as pre-owned, I wouldn’t have cared. I was expecting a new copy.

I have virtually every one of these books and they are wonderful reference for any artist, illustrator or cartoonist!

Contiene per lo più reference di danza, piuttosto che altre interazioni, ma va abbastanza bene.

I like these books simply because they provide some handy shortcuts even for an experienced illustrator like myself.

Good form, but I would have liked figures to be blocked out. Interesting poses with great interaction. Well worth a look!

With all the posts you can search on Internet. It’s just simples posts. I thought it was going to be a lover post. Romantic posts but its turned out just normal. Nothing really. I’m regret buying this book indeed.

Its hard to find and good reference for couples. This is great for practicing anatomy! It is realistic and simple enough to copy the base lines.
