Be aware: this book is much more about yards than plants.

Cover says pocket gardens design ideas for small gardening. I thought the book had ideas for small gardens(food) but it’s a mish mash of-container plants, water garden, etc. The author is combining landscaping ideas with gardening. There is a difference between landscaping and gardens for food which is what I thought this book was about. It does have some good ideas but it’s just okay to me.

This book has lots of pictures and information for edible gardens (about half the book) which was exactly what I wanted. Many garden design books relegate edible gardens to a few pages.
