Love it!

I was incredibly disappointed in this book. The title is very misleading and there is no instruction or help with how to actually draw fashion designs. I would not recommend this book to a beginner. I’m not certain that it would help the most advanced designers.

Very basic book

I brought this book for my brother who is at college studying fashion. Many of his class mates had a head start on him in terms of their creative and artistic backgrounds and, being relatively new to the subject, he struggled with how he could best communicate his ideas.
This book has helped build his confidence and has opened his eyes to the many ways in which to express his ideas and creativity which has seen him excel in his studies.
I think this book provides a great foundation for fashion students, especially those who are new to the subject, whilst providing a platform for further study and exploration.

really liked it

This book lacked a lot of instruction. I think it would be better for someone who already knows how to draw.

Takes the beginner the next step. Gives good information on and basics on being a fashion designer. It is the book you keep in your library and go back to as a reference.

I ordered this item because the title said “Fashion Design Drawing Course”. Since I am teaching a course of fashion design I thought may be this is the book I should use to teach the class. When I reviewed the book I found out that it was not a course at all. There are pictures of dresses and some elementary sketches, but not a book you will use to teach a class. The fancy title makes you think of a step-by-step book on how to draw fashion, which is just a bunch of pictures put together. If you really want to learn the process of fashion do not buy this book, instead get right book “Fashion Sketchbook” by Bina Abling.
