This is exactly what I wanted! As a 3D Generalist in the industry, I was looking for a book to help me conceptualize new ideas for my own personal projects. I mostly excel at hard surface, lighting and compositing so this is my jam. I usually do personal projects to level up my skills or if I’m just curious about something that’s unrelated to our current projects. I was looking for a book to get in the mind of other artists and sort of break me out of my shell of doing the same styles that I tend to get stuck in. Lots of information here and beautiful imagery. I also bought 3d landscape techniques. I wish there was more with the digital mayhem series.
