Creative Watercolour Techniques

My parents gave this to me as a gift in the early 80’s. A couple years ago I loaned it to a friend and then of course she had no memory of that. I KNEW I could never get by without it and ordered one from Amazon without hesitation.
I used this book for a independent study in high school, and it taught me more than private lessons. I confess that back then I didn’t even read very many of the actual paragraphs, just learned from the photo examples and illustrated techniques and brushstrokes. I have even found paintings from that time where I mimicked some of Yvonne’s paintings printed in this book, and they are charming even though I was learning. I use this to teach watercolor painting to both children and adults, and as a refresher for myself every so often as well.
