If you have already bought several books on carving, you will have most probably repeating information about tools and sharpening the tools. This book is different. It really concentrates on the carving itself. It contains precise patterns for the examples shown. The book has separate sections for the “Nose”, “Mouth”, “Eyes”, Headdress and Hair”, “Straf and Bolo”. Last not least it contains two sections about “Finishing”.
Great book – I can recommend the book for anyone looking for help in executing projects (carving human faces).
