Bunny in the Moon features compelling new works in paint, print, pencil, and sculpture informed by mythology and folklore of Japanese, Brazilian, Saxon, Greek, and Pagan origin. The resulting imagery combines the primal power at the core of ancient culture with McPherson”s contemporary explorations of love, loss, strength, vulnerability, and female empowerment. This volume also contains a foreword by filmmaker Morgan Spurlock (Supersize Me).

AKA RICK –
Tara McPherson is in that “low-brow” art category who emerged from illustrating comic book covers early in her career and is now a highly accomplished gallery caliber artist who I’m a fan of.
This book is well worth buying if you like her art or want to get turned onto a magnificent artist.

Art is a favorite book of my daughter. Girl wants to be an artist, as Tara. Print quality is excellent, the book is rough to the touch (differently in different places). The colors are bright and juicy.

Though I did purchase this as a gift for my girlfriend, I do have the advantage of living with her, and therefore access to this book. I greatly enjoy Tara McPherson’s work, and this is a fresh volume of it for her fans to consume.

It was sent damaged, and then sent again. The book itself has beautiful art, but the cover material is so fragile with no protective coating so shipping damages it.

Brought as a present for my niece she loved it

Love this book and love her art! Met her once, very sweet and cool person!

This is the only volume I have had the pleasure of viewing as of yet, and I am more than pleased.
Although questionable to some, my young daughter (we’re very anatomically open and honest in our home) likes to look at this and talk about the hair, colors, emotions and other such matters. A great conversation starter too, leave it on the coffee table to entertain guest and freak out your in-laws.

Every book by the artist is amazing! Great to be able to see the art of McPherson at home, since the art is seldom seen in exhibitions in Europe.

The item was a present and it was well received. I did, as the person who received it, expected it to be a little more daring, if you know what I mean. Other than that, it glows in the dark. Literally.
