I’ve bought this book twice now, after giving the first one away to a friend. The plans are fairly concise and well written – at times he adds useless confusing commentary about how he had to do something a specific way because of the limitations of his machines – which we don’t need to know. The plans are of course all in american units as you’d expect from an american author, but there is plenty of room on each page to convert them to something sensible.

The boxes in this book are not going to be easy for anyone just starting out in box making; however, it offers a great amount of detail in building, not only boxes, but creating your own decorative inlays. I was pleasantly surprised by the section on inlay creation.

Only useful if you use power tools, i wish it would be at least for the manual and mechanical tecnic.
