    IN INGLESE!!

I like this book. I bet it has hundreds of illistrations. It gets down to the basics of two heads tall, two and a half and three heads tall. It goes through what faces work for which height, it goes through some clothes types but not many. It is good for someone who wants to get started.

The book itself is really Welly written and has plenty of breakdowns and examples, it’s worth the buy for a reference guide to chibi’s. However, It came smashed on the corners in a manila envelope…. It was rather saddening to see, after the cost of the book I wouldn’t expect such poor care for the item being sent.

I’ve bought and returned a lot of books on drawing chibi and anime lately (downside to buying books online, can’t tell much if anything about a book before buying it); and none compares to how in depth and detailed this book is. They go over important details of drawing chibis, especially size differences, that I have yet to find in any other book of this kind. There is even information on full sized anime characters in the comparisons that will help me out with drawing them; even though that’s not the focus of this book. This is absolutely a must have book if you’re trying to learn to draw chibis.

I have gotten every possible chibi book there is, and I have to say that this the most complete one so far. It is nearly 200 pages, has plenty of references and tutorials, guides, tips, and tricks. It is in black and white, so for the basics it is perfect. If you are planning on getting one chibi book, this is the only one you need. Truly recommend!

I really love this book. I would genuinely prefer it over any other chibi drawing books on the market right now. I know I’m an internet stranger but trust me, I have read through most chibi drawing books published in English out there. This one is my go to choice of reference.

So, what’s my reasoning? It doesn’t JUST show you drawing tutorials- it teaches you the foundation and basics first so you can get creative on your own. And if you get stuck, you can always flip through a tutorial that illustrates a similar pose or effect you want to draw and see how the artist did it. Now, this book IS in black and white so there are no tips on coloring, but learning the basics of chibi art doesn’t require coloring to be a pertinent thing.

Anyways, in conclusion, I really enjoy this book and I think the way it’s laid out and illustrated is excellent. You can make a variety of chibis and it actually TEACHES you how- not just shows you.

The title is a bit generic and meh but this has been the most HELPFUL resource I have found for drawing chibis. I wish I had this as a kid. It explains how to draw different chibis via size ratio with examples of the same characters. So like a very tiny chibi with not a lot of detailing to a larger one with more detailing.

I found my art has greatly improved since using the book.

I love this book so much! The explanations are very detailed and they are easy to follow even as a beginner. All of the art is very high quality. Definitely the best book for learning how to draw in the anime/chibi style. Everything is simply amazing, thank you very much!

There’s a little “tear” in front, but it doesn’t matter much because overall the book arrived in a good condition and the insides are filled with helpful guides.
It’s great as a general guide and starting point.
Definitely in my top chibi drawing guide books; would recommend!

The art inside is really pretty! The tutorials are helpful. My drawings are nowhere near as clean or refined as the authors’ but that’s just the art journey. It’s super helpful as I haven’t drawn people in a while. The pretty art and helpful tips keep me motivated! The art is also in a style I like, not a strange how to draw manga book that I used to read at the library.

This is a beautiful book for artists, especially those into anime style art. This book does SUCH A GREAT JOB of breaking down the Chibi anatomy and showing the common mistakes that are made in drawing these characters. All the sketches are so cute and it really helps you learn the fundamentals and build up to drawing amazing Chibi in various styles. Love this book!
