Le livre a légèrement pris des coups pendant le voyage mais rien de grave, dans mon cas la tranche d’un bouquin, c’est pas ce qui m’intéresse. Le contenu est très très très bien accompagné, c’est excellent si l’on veut se familiariser avec Photoshop et qu’on est assez mauvais en dessin sur ordinateur. Le contenu est en anglais, mais ça se comprend super facilement.

This book is absolutely incredible. I am new to art but not rubbish at it. No expert either but I am told I’m good. This book was bought to advance my skills. Somebody commented here about it not being very helpful as it doesn’t show you how to actually draw. Well….actually it does teach you a lot. It shows you all the essentials you need to know about in order to complete drawings using photoshop (or Procreate in my case which is similar and for iPad). It doesn’t teach you how to be a world class artist because that’s not something you can teach. It’ll come in time if you dedicate time every day to developing your skills. This book helps. It has tutorials and some great examples of other people’s work. It’s not written by one (self indulgent) author/artist as somebody else said. It is written with input from several artists with similar styles but different experiences. There’s nothing egotistical at all. They are showing off their great work in order to help you and I !! It helps you understand how body’s are formed and skin tones along with character “design” in the written sense (like thinking about it’s characteristics etc). I recommend this book a lot. It’s a good mix of words to photo ratio. Perfect. Get it!
Oh. The book cover is great. And the layout makes it a good easy-on-the-eye-read. Quality of paper is great too. It just looks, reads and feels amazing.
