I bought Batman the ultimate guide for my brother for his birthday. He is a Batman fan and said there where a few things in the book that he didn’t know. It is well written and has beautiful illustrations including reproductions of classic comic covers. It covers things from the creation of the characters to the current iterations. I highly recommend it for any Batman fans.

Purchased as a gift, but have to return for replacement due to too much damage. Amazon needs to get their act together when it comes to packaging. Book came in a box with no padding. Hopefully the replacement does not look like this.

Covers a lot of history until the present. The artwork is amazing! So I convinced myself that keeping this book and learning more about Batman is a better for business and relationship then to gift it. Very satisfied. Packed with great images and lots of info. An ideal overview of most of the Batman universe in one very colorful, beautifully designed volume. Great graphics. Probably intended for adults, but I can see how a kid could get really drawn into the info by the visuals. Excellent all around, for all ages.
