Color photos, precise patterns, and clear instructions make creating realistic wildlife portraits fun and easy. Inside you will find: *Advice on equipment *A complete overview of the process *16 precisely designed and color-coded patterns, each with a project overview, number of pieces, and cutting sequence *Tips for creating patterns from your own photos *How to make a customized frame for your project *And much more. The projects are amazing! Sculpt a great horned owl or a wolf. Scroll saw a cheetah or jaguar. Yes, you’ll find lions and tigers and bears! If you love your scroll saw and are looking to move from being a woodworker to a wood artist, this is a great place to start!

However, the plans indicate enlarging to various degrees. I suggest larger. Some of the cuts, even at listed enlargements are almost impossible to make. So, make them bigger. Great results when enlarged.

Like animals? Got a scroll saw? Why are you reading this you should be putting you credit card details in by now and be buying this book! Some of the projects take you on a step by step journey to produce something truly beautifull. Project costs are kept low by using one type of wood and then staining. Finished results with a bit of time and care are stunning.
This is going to keep me busy for ages.

IF YOU ENJOY USING THE SCROLLSAW, THESE PATTERNS WILL BRING LIFE TO YOUR PROJECTS, I HAVE COMPLETED 2 OF THEM, AND HAVE REALLY ENJOYED THEM. MUCH EASIER THAN INTARSIA, BUT WITH THE DIRECTIONS, THE PATTERNS CAN REALLY COME TO LIFE, AND YOU DON’T NEED A BIG INVESTMENT IN EXOTIC WOOD
